Playing riffs to Sweet Home Chicago

The time has come to work our riffs into the song Sweet Home Chicago. We tried to get riffs 1 and 2 into the SHC blues progression in the key of E. Had a lot of trouble because we had to manage the different blues progression (not a standard 12-bar blues) .......a different key, and also need to fit the riffs into the song. Assignment is to practice putting the blues riffs into SHC .
