Well, we crashed and burned at the last Blues session when we were asked to do 12-bar blues using the matchbox blues riff. I could not recall it since I'd been practicing other things for the previous week. Looks like we don't "own" the riff yet. Got to keep working that riff---both the 1-measure version and the 2-measure version. Need to practice it in all keys (not just G) and use the drum & bass tracks to gain proficiency.
