The last session we practiced riff number 1 and then riff number 4 in 12 bar blues in the key of G. Then we played both riffs numbers 1 and 4 in 12 bar blues switching between them in various measures. Continue practicing these riffs along with those practiced during the past several weeks along with the song "Sweet Home Chicago".
Practice using the guitar and drum tracks provided with the class materials. Write your riffs down, understand them, and keep them in a binder. We discussed that the riffs we have been practicing are moveable, and that riff number 4 is a hybrid riff using a combination of notes from the major and minor pentatonic scales and although discussed further in class, I will not attempt to diagram here because I can't...yet!
