Time to learn Riff #3 in the blues materials. Later we'll string it into a blues progression along with other riffs we've learned.
When playing riffs, we need to be able to do them in both open and closed forms on the guitar. On the banjo, need to practice and play riffs in the different positions on the fretboard. You want to avoid using positions that cause you to run out of frets for a given riff.
