Some questions that everyone should be able to quickly answer:

Q. In the first 5 notes of the major and minor scales, which one is different?
A. The 3 note. In the minor scale, the 3 is flatted.

Q. What notes are next to each other in the major and minor scales?
A. In the major scale, the 3&4 and the 7&8 are next to each other. In the minor scale, the 2&3 and 5&6 are next to each other

Q. How many notes in major and minor scales, and in pentatonic scales?
A. 7 notes in major and minor scales, pentatonic scales have 5 notes.

Q. What's a major pentatonic scale?
A. A major scale minus the 4 and 7 notes.

Q. What's a minor pentatonic scale?
A. A minor scale minus the 2 and 6 notes.

one more thing, the 1-2-4-5 forms a box that can help you quickly find scale notes anywhere on the fretboard as long as you know where your root notes are.
