In the last blues class we tried a couple of boogie progressions. The first one goes 1-3b-3-5-6-5. Use this same progression for each of the 1-4-5 chords. On the guitar this can be done by shifting the pattern up or down one string (in most cases). The second one is similar, but includes a 7b ----goes like this 1-3b-3-5-6-5-7b-6-5-3b-3.
Sounds really good, especially when you do it fast.
