Minor and major scales common notes - box 9 years 4 months ago #8179

We talked about Major and Minor scales and how Fretmentor’s “special” hand signal, which we all know, can help us with playing scales.
Of the first 5 notes (12345) of the Major and Minor scale, the 3 (middle finger) is the different note.
12 45 are common notes.
Knowing and using the inlays helps us find the target or root note. Work on finding quickly any target or root note and play it in a box (1 2 4 5) starting on the index finger in a horizontal scale pattern, then you can easily switch from Major to Minor scale.
Need to work on finding our target notes quickly and also knowing:
In the Major scale: 3 4 and 7 8 are next to each other
In the Minor scale: 2 3 and 5 6 are next to each other
See you all at the Holiday Party! :)
