Blues turnarounds start with notes from the 1 chord, then go to a 5 chord and eventually end up with a 1 chord again, except at a different position. Like riffs and chords, these are moveable up and down until you run out of available frets. For example, a turnaround in A can easily become a turnaround in B by shifting the entire sequence up 2 frets. The important thing is to learn the sequence, or the pattern, of notes, which is then moveable around the fretboard. This applies to scales also.
Assignment for this week is to work on the first 2 turnarounds in the fretmentor blues package, in particular the second one.
