TOPIC: Fretmentor's Blues Class - Class 2

Here is a brief summary of what we covered in tonight's class:

1. Learn to play whole, half, quarter and 1/8ths strums and notes. Practice Swing 8ths. Refer to the Technique section on playing swing 8ths. This can be found in one of the three instrument sections under Technique and the file is called timing exercises (i.e. guitartimingexercises)

2. Review playing a scale on the website. A major scale consists of the patter Root, 2, 2, 1, 2, 2, 2, 1. Play a scale using one string.

3. We covered 12 Bar blues. You will hear 12 bar blues in various keys under the drum and bass tracks. Your can print out the 12 bar blues pattern found in the Theory Section.

Downloaded tef files and was finally able to work with the program. Thanks for your patience, Dave!

you said you would post the utube infor to see strumming etc. Where will I find that???

Found all the songs and they all played on TEF. Found the song titles by using your search engine and going into the larger file for all blues instruments. Now I'm fired up and ready to go.
