TOPIC: Curling Pickguard on a Guitar

I am worried about the curling edges of the pickguard on my guitar. Someone said that I could have the pickguard replaced but I'm not too sure I want the guitar touched as it plays fine. I oil the fretboard with lemon oil and polish the rest with guitar polish. I have a humidifier in my case but it didn't play it much for years at a time. What does anyone know about curling pickguards?
