TOPIC: Soggy Bottom Boys

Dave, when it comes time to post a new featured song, can you tab out "Man of Constant Sorrow" by the Soggy Bottom Boys? Love that tune! I'd wear that one out!

Not a bad choice. I am curious to find out what other songs people would like for future instructional materials.

I heard a song today on the radio called the Bramble and the Rose....a nice LOVE song.....Seriously....Fretmentor if you know that one, it would be my choise. It featured the mandolin which sounded very nice.

If you guys want a real treat, get on YouTube and see Allison Krauss and Union Station Play "Man of Constant Sorrow". They have a lap steel player. I actually like Ralph Stanley's version better. (i'm too computer illiterate to put the hyperlink in here---i tried it, and got frustrated---kinda like playing an "F" chord!)

How about "Roll in My Sweet Baby's Arms". There are countless versions of it out there. The chords are not too hard ( a major factor in song choice for me)!!!!
