TOPIC: My Two Cents

I really liked the way we did "Cripple Creek" as a class last week. I don't know what to call what we did, but it was the mandolins starting in unison, then the guitars coming in, etc. Perhaps it was the FM attempting to orchestrate the class. Sounded pretty cool.

Sorry I missed last week's class. It sounds as if the format was well received. Since I am a virtual beginner I am on edge all class just trying to keep up with the chord changes and rhythm. Looking at it from my perspective you guys are great!

I have to agree that it made for an interesting effect when we switched off from part A to part B! Also, I've noticed that the part about naming two songs per week is really having a good effect on my own practice, since I now find myself actually practicing, with emphasis on those two songs, instead of trying to spiff up ALL the songs, which usually doesn't work for me. And after a few weeks we will have gone over all the songs. I really like that.

Hogpaws..I'm with you...Knowing the songs and narrowing them down to two is much easier than trying to perfect ALL of them!! (except I can't even perfect TWO at a time..but I keep practicing!!)
