TOPIC: ANOTHER PROBLEM....

Yes, they keep coming (the problems) ....I realized last night in the "cirlcle" that I don't "recognize" songs unless I hear the guitar lead.....I avoided looking at FRETMENTOR because although I was playing the chords, I didn't have a clue as to what the song was....when we "broke" the cirlcle...I asked and "lo and behold"...it was Ole Joe Clark...which I can play...but just couldn't figure out what it was from the banjo lead...I have SO much to learn!!!

Thank you, Thank You, I thought I was losing it, I only identified Amazing Grace, and I'll fly away, I had no clue as to what the other songs were.

I was able to identify amazing grace and I'll fly away which I can pick out the melody to, but can't quite get the chords and back up down properly. Still a beginner and still learning. I am sure I will always be learning which I find exciting. Just going a bit slower than I would like. Tough to juggle work, home, kids, and the many hobbies I have.

For once I did recognize Ole Joe Clark, but looked at my shoes because I'm not quite ready to play it. I did a semi-recognizable rendition of I'll Fly Away, but blew the hand-off because I was looking at my guitar instead of for the next victim--I mean player. Oh well, there's always next week.

I can recognize most of them now but a couple still give me fits, I feel like a dunce....
