I spent some time this week and read the Bio information. When I came into the class tonight I not only knew the instrument each person plays. I also knew that I was in a room filled with an amazing group of people. Diverse, experienced, intelligent, and talented. As a collective group the possibilities are endless. Yet we revert to nervous grade schoolers when asked to make music with an audience of our peers. I was more comfortable tonight because I had taken the time to get to get to "know my neighbors."
