Well, I had the most fun afternoon today. Two friends of mine (that I play tennis with as well as music) that are guitar players and pretty good ones, came over and we spent the entire afternoon making music in many genres, from Dylan (fingerstyle, complete with harmonica and vocals) and the Beatles to Led Zeppelin and AC/DC and even Pink Floyd with all sorts in between. They played acoustic guitars and I alternated between acoustic guitar and electric bass guitar. We were joined in progress by my son on electric guitar and my wife on piano, who can play pretty much anything and sing too!
Funny aside, we decided to do a long 12 bar blues jam in A and had to struggle working out who soloed when....I had to take the bull by the horns and direct traffic, thanks to what I have learned in our bluegrass class. Thanks, Dave!!
3.5 hours went by in about five minutes....
