TOPIC: Blues Jam

I really enjoyed our little blues jam at the end of class last week. I play the blues alot. That's probably one of the rasons I keep making the same mistakes on our songs in class. It took me a while to get going though because I usualluy play blues in keys other than G. But that's what it's all about. Being able to play something you know in a different key to play along with some other people. That's definitly one of the benifits I've been able to take away from the classes. Would anyone else be interested in doing a blues number for calss? I would.
They call it Stormy Monday....Tuesday's just as bad.....
Wednesdays we play bluegrass.....That makes me oh so sad...

Yes i would very much like to play some blues jams at class, that would be fun and productive.

No one says you have to play the blues in G. Feel free at class to have a group play blues in a different key. Just recognize though, that all the instruments have different keys that are preferred. Discuss it with your group members.
