TOPIC: Group performing

Last week was my first time playing with a group that I felt
confident and comfortable. I have found that regular practice
is evolving from a form of self torture to that of pleasure and
excitement as I progress. I hope that my fellow performers
find my attempts enjoyable as well. Thanks for the encourgement

In fact, you were noticibly better, Bobby. Congratulations! Wish I could say the same, heh heh. Right before it was my groups turn to play, I tried to tune one string that was just a little out of tune (according to my electronic tuner)....and I was turning the wrong tuning key...I really got it out of wack...and couldn't correct it in time before we played. Sounded like I was plucking on a rubber band.

Maybe so DCONE, but you kept trying....and kept playing....imagine if you had been in tune!!! I think you too have improved greatly!

Doug, i can see your playing has gotten better. You seem to have alot of confidence, even on the tunes you admit to not knowing. And you seem to have fun with it.

I really enjoy playing with you Dcone, you have a great attitude and since of humor. You did a great job on “Boil them Cabbage” last night. I find for me that the learning curve is getting steeper as the teeth get longer but just keep on pickin. I can’t change that I didn’t start 40 years earlier. And thank you Tigerpaws for keeping us on track.
