slow jam 15 years 6 months ago #180

I like the way that Dave is having our entire class do a slow jam to start off the beginning of class....we are all eager to start to play and it is a good warm up and great way to learn the dynamics of playing with others with Dave showing us when to soften, ect...
Each week we should pick the song of the week for the following week to play before we break into our groups..

any other ideas?

I agree. It would be helpful to know what song we will be playing because, often, I don't know the song that is picked durring the class and I have to struggle along to participate. If we pick a song the previous week, it would give me a chance the review the chords and melody. I'm not sure that I could play them but at least I'll know what I'm supposed to be playing.:S

I really enjoyed last night's class. It put into perspective a lot of the things that I've been working on in my Saturday lessons. It really put some of the theory into practice. I hope we get to try that again sometime soon.
