I highly recommend checking out Roy Buchanan if you're not familiar with him already. He was another guitar player who left us way too soon.

Trivia: The blackguard's name was "Nancy".

I discovered Roy when I was in High School ~1973 and have a number of his albums in vinyl. I saw him once live at a small venue in Connecticut; it sat only about 300 people. He was phenomenal. I could never understand why he was not more popular or well known. :(

Great job on Misty.........have you ever heard Harold Bradley's version? I haven't heard it in awhile, but as I recall, it was somewhat less jazzy than Roy's version. Absolutely a GREAT guitar song, particularly in the "mood enhancing" area! (for the younger crowd).
