TOPIC: Downloading Tabledit (Tefview Free)

What is Tef view and TablEdit?



TablEdit is computer software package that allows a student to not only view and print the software but to hear a computer generated midi file that plays the song note for note.  This way, you will be able to hear what the song sounds like the minute you start to learn the tab. 

As mentioned above, the midi file will be supplemented with additional recorded sound files that you can use when practicing.

A free Tef viewer for Windows and Mac computers can be downloaded from the Tabledit website.  I recommend that you download the free viewer.  Remember: Download only the Free Tef viewer application for either the PC (Windows) or MAC (OSX)  Either one of these two programs can be accessed at the following link:

Where do you find the "free viewer" to download? Do you first have to go to the "Download Demo Version" site and then hit a download free viewer?

Click the Tabedit link in my post above. Then click and download the Tefview Free Program. Run or install it on your computer.

in prior instructions you told someone to "click and download the Tefview Free Program."

I dont see the words "tefview" anywhere.

I see TablEdit.

is that the download we are supposed to install to our PC????

As I mentioned, click the link. Tefview Free is right there on the Tabedit website. Not sure why you can't see it. To be more specific, Tabedit is the link to their site. Tefview free is the program you will see once at their site.

ahhh...got it.
the Tefview link is very small, and even though it's right at the Top, it took me a while to see it this time as well.


Anyway, I got your other post as well, so now I know I'll just hold off and wait until we discuss it in future classes.
