TOPIC: ukeleles!!!

This is great. Talented and great sense of humor. We need to start one of these, how many of us have ukes?



They couldn't resist a couple of little musical side trips. Make sure you watch the WHOLE thing!!!

I love it

I was at the beach yesterday AM and there were two youngins, surfer dude type, strumming ukes. One had a cut a way model. Seems like ukes are making a come back.

Yeah there are a whole lot more people learning the ukelele then there used to be. Also, now a lot of younger kids who want to learn the guitar first start on the ukelele, because it's smaller and easier for them handle, as well as simpler for them to comprehend, what with it having 4 strings rather than 6.(I think Jay Wolfe's grandson is learning to play the ukelele)

I read the ukuleles tend to be a "depression time" instrument as they don't cost as much and more people can afford them....Not that we are in a depression .

They've been getting more popular the last few years due to a couple of high profile players.
