This folder contains the Banjo, Guitar, and Mandolin standard musical notation and tablature for the song Angels We Have Heard On High (also referred to as Gloria) in the Key of G. History:  Although the song is based on a 18th to 19th century french carol the popular English version was translated by James Chadwick, a Roman Catholic Bishop, in 1862 (further research and references are pending)

History: This song dates back to 1885 where two verses were published in a Evangelical Lutheran Sunday collection.  Martin Luther, a German reformer is credited with the text. The tune was edited by James R. Murray and set to the tune St Kilda, credited to J.E, Clark. (further research and references are pending).

History:  An English writer William Chatterton Dix wrote the lyrics to "What Child is This" in 1865.  This Chirstmas carol was later set to the original English tune "Greensleeves". Further research and references are pending.
