TOPIC: New members

Re:New members 14 years 2 months ago #2682

George is right - you're getting better if you're having fun - because it really means you are relaxing. Messing up seems par for the course (for me anyway!) and is actually fun since we all have a good laugh at it.
Oops can't believe I said that! - hopefully Dave only counts new postings and doesn't actully read them! right????!!

Say something totally off the wall, and you will bring him out. He does read them. The Fretmentor is like the spirit of God, totally omnicient and omnipresent, and you can't see him....(twilight zone music in the background),

Voice of Rod Serling: "A lonely guitar student struggles with his instrument, music theory an ever looming enigma, stumbling over scales and chord progressions,it seems he has opened up a pandora's box of musical mysticism... look out, that sign post up ahead, that's not tablature, you're in the Fretmentor zone!"

Ur not in Kansas, Toto....ur in Fretmentor!
Steve, thanks for the karma, those are hard to come by....2 in as many years! I'm a big fan of the old black and white Twilight Zones.
I also like the song of the same name by Golden Earring. Definitely a crank it up loud song. It seems every instrument in the band got some sort of lead in that tune. The bass, electronic drums, and the lead guitar of course.

"It's 2 AM,the fear is gone, i'm sittin here waitin, the gun's still warm.
Maybe my connection is tired of takin his chances.
There's a storm on the loose, sirens in my head,i'm wrapped up in silence, all circuits are dead. I cannot decode, my whole life spins into a frenzy".....
pick slide, then chorus....
