The only person that listens to me play is my cat. If I close the door to my practice room, he opens it, sits down, and waits til I'm done! Anyone else have loyal fans?

Stanley! he follows me everywhere so he has to listen....sometimes he "tells" me to stop, actually puts his nose between my hand and the strings....(Oh, by the way, Stanely is my dog!) And I've noticed that my husband tends to "have to go to the hangar" as soon as I pick up my guitar...hmmmm...

I have been doing some home recording with guitar/mandolin of old fiddle tunes, I have played for quite a few folks including younger people and really suprised how into the fiddle tunes they are, I have teenagers and people in their 20's, 30's really getting into it, glad you asked, I'm part of the "Revival" of a lost and under-appreciated musical expression.

My two mini dachshunds are my loyal listeners! I've also played/fumbled my way through a few jam sessions at Merlefest in North Carolina and a few jams in Wintergrass in Seattle. Lots of fun! Otherwise, it's been just me at home whenever I can sneak in a hour here and there.
