A video by Ronnie Earl...a great guitar player... He was one of my roommates in a college apartment in Boston in the 70's. I remember that he got a guitar, never having played before, went into his room, and played and played all day.....and look! Now he's famous! He had a dog named Rahsaan...after Rahsaan Roland Kirk!

I guess this means that if I play and play all day, one day I'll be good enough to jam with Ronnie.

Really enjoyed that clip of Ronnie Earl playing blues. Noticed the way he alternated bewteen finger picking and using a pick - by holding the pick between the top of his 2 fingers when not in use- pretty neat! I would love to try it - but would probably drop the pick fairly quickly.

Looked up another video of his - playing Amazing Grace on the church steps. Unfortunatly the volume is so low - any other clips of Amazing Grace _with volume -that anyone knows of?
