I have a Deering Sierra that needs to have the action re-set.
I have tinkered with it many times and it's now so far off that I dont know if I can ever get it back to an acceptable condition.
When I first started making adjustments I wa pretty cautios and did not stray too far; I also armed myself with instructions. But, that was then.
Does anybody know any good luthiers in the area that they would recommend?

Luthiers and those who know banjos are two different beasts. No one I know around here is qualified, in my opinion, to provide good banjo set up work.

I have the same problem with my guitar, the action is way off. But I do not want to tinker with it. Being I will be about an hours drive from Nazzarath, Pa. next month, I will bring it their and let them fix it.
