Jens is well regarded at being not only a great banjo player but also extremely knowelegeable and talented about Banjo setup. I have heard him speak about tone rings, rims, tap tuning etc.

My Deering has the Kruger Tone ring that he developed.

Some hands on on this subject for the banjo players would be well worth the investment in time. Just my opinion.

LOOKING FORWARD TO IT!..I have been playing with some different adjustments. ie.. new bridge, tail piece angle, strings, head tension. I did not realize how many things can be changed!
