I need to try and learn it. I mean, being a fiddle player and not playing orange blossom special is like being a banjo player and not knowing dueling banjos. It's like
THE definging song of the instrament. But then, that also means that
everyone will know if you got it wrong. So I guess it balances out.
Yeah, I have that problem, too. The only problem is that it usually happens when I'm playing classical music. And it ain't really considered cool to start out 'adagio' and end up playing 'Presto.' In fiddling, maybe, with Vivaldi...
And my dog has yet to stop howling (I jest here; she just glares at me and yawns).

Mompodell, you should hear me playing Orange Blossom Special....I start at a normal speed and then for some reason it just starts getting faster and faster and I can't control myself....I think it's the tune....it must have the devil in it...Hogpaws plays with me at times to try to keep me at a steady pace...but at least Sherman stays in the room with us now and has stopped howling...think he's given up on me
